Our Provincial Grand Summus on his travels March 2026
Following the meeting at Merevale Consistory, we travelled down to Harrow for the meeting of Provincial Grand Senatus of Middlesex on 21st March. The Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist.Comp. Jonathan Peter Wallis and his team of Provincial Officers made us all very welcome. Notably we had two of our own members receiving promotion in Middlesex Province at the meeting, Em.Comp. Dmytro Tupchiienko, and Em.Comp. Jussi Matias Tuovinen, who are members of Invictus Consistory No.149.
Pictured below is R.Dist.Comp. Jonathan Peter Wallis, together with Dist.Comp. Graham Holden and the other R.Dist.Comps at the meeting, including R.Dist.Comp. Richard Mussell a member of Midland Consistory No.2TI.
Tuesday 24th March witnessed the Consecration of Saxon Cross Consistory No.169 in our neighbouring Province of Cheshire & North Wales.
It was a magnificent day lead by the Grand Summus, Most Dist. Comp. Ian Stanley Currans as the Consecrating Officer and assisted by Officers of Grand Senatus. On the team were our very own R.Dist.Comp. Francis Charles Spencer, Deputy Grand Summus; Dist.Comp. Simon David Evans, discharging his duty as Grand Standard Bearer: and R.Dist.Comp. Charles Jonathan Aspinell, as Grand Episcopus , who gave a splendid Oration on the formation and purpose of the new Consistory. R.Dist.Comp. Charles Jonathan Aspinell, is the Primus President of Invictus Consistory No.149 in our Province.
A notable addition to the day was a donation of a new Pedestal (Ezel) which features the carvings from the Saxon Crosses of Sandbach, after which the new Consistory is apply named.
