A very busy night at Tern Consistory No.42TI meeting at the Chase Golf Club Penkridge, on Friday 28th February.
When their President Dist. Comp. Bob Sagoo, (Assistant PGM of the Mark for Staffordshire and Shropshire), conferred the 2nd Grade of the Orders on Companions Mark Snape, Aniello Ursini and Stuart Brett, all this in front of the Provincial Grand Summus Dist.Comp. Graham Holden.
After the 2nd Grade was completed the PGS took the Presidents chair and requested his Deputy V.Dist.Comp. Trevor Cavill and Assistant Dist.Comp.Kenneth Walchester to take the Chairs of Primus of Lectores and Ostiarii . They together with a full Provincial team then carried out the Preparation for President Ceremony on (6) candidates. Namely, Comp David Kettle – Stretton Hills Consistory No. 137; (Dep Grand Supt of the Royal Arch for Shropshire), Comp Dennis Freshwater – Invictus Consistory No.149 (Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for Warwickshire), Comp Gareth Hughes – Midland Consistory No2TI (Past Asst PGM Mark for Warwickshire), Comp Geoffrey Lates – Rahab Consistory No30TI and Leslie Smith and Steve Tilson both from – Shropshire Union Consistory No124. Also present was R W Bro Joseph McCollum (PGM AMD West Midlands) and his Deputy Dist. Comp. Barry Jones, R.Dist.Comp. John Stevens (Past PGS Midland Counties and Provincial Grand Summus for Staffordshire and Shropshire) and his Deputy Ian Bennett.
A very enjoyable and busy evening all this in front of 36 other Companions. Truly an exceptional night of Scarlet Cord Masonry followed by an excellent festive board
