The Merevale 26TI Consistory meeting held on Friday 20 March

The PGSR for Worcestershire R.Wy. Bro Robert Vaughan; together with the Intendant-General for the Red Cross Division of West Midlands, Rt. Ill. Kt James Frederick Peter Mulligan; and three other Candidates undergo their Preparation for President in Midland Counties Scarlet Cord.

The Merevale 26TI Consistory meeting held on Friday, 20 March, was honoured by an outstanding turnout from the Province of Midland Counties in the Scarlet Cord.

The occasion marked the Installation of Em.Comp. Jonathan Castle, into the Presidents chair of Merevale Consistory.

Prior to the Installation ceremony the meeting witnessed the conferral of the “Preparation for President Ceremony” on five Candidates who are very well known to us in Midland Counties.

Namely (the PGSR for Worcestershire) Comp. Robert Vaughan (a member of Worcestershire Consistory No.29 TI); Comp. Stanley Southgate (of Midland Consistory No.2TI); Comp. Jussi M Tuovinen (of Invictus No.149); Comp. Mohammed Brahimi (of Merevale Consistory 26TI); and the (Int.-Gen, RCC for West Midlands) Comp. James Frederick Peter Mulligan (of Rahab Consistory No.30TI.)

The ceremony was performed by the Provincial team lead by the Provincial Grand Summus, R. Dist. Comp. Graham Holden, accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Grand Summus, V. Dist. Comp. Trevor L. Cavill, the Assistant Provincial Grand Summus Dist. Comp. Kenneth I. Walchester and acting Provincial Officers.

The award for greatest distance travelled was given to Comp. Jussi M Tuovinen who had travelled from Finland to receive his Preparation for President Ceremony.
